Welcome to this course on Intro to Drawing or Drawing 101! This is an online-only class that will delve into the foundational techniques used in drawing. These techniques will prepare you for a journey into the creative world of drawing by introducing the fundamental skills artists use to accomplish some of the world's greatest artistic achievements. Even the greats like Leonardo da Vinci had to start somewhere. Well, here we are...at the beginning.

David Schlotterback
Hello! My name is David Schlotterback and I am a graduate of ESU. I graduated with a BSE in Art and History Education in 1999. I moved out to California in February 2000 to become a graphic designer for an Educational Foundation. I worked for this organization for 16 years and decided to open my own business as a Creative Director in 2017.
I am married with a wonderful son who is currently 10. We have a cat and not much free time. We love going to the beach, hiking in the nearby mountains or just going for a bike ride on the path down the street. I am super excited about sharing my knowledge on drawing and being part of your creative journey!
